This site has been developed to help you discover one of the friendliest, most exciting cities in Oklahoma. Woodward was voted 73rd in the United States for quality of life in a small town.

This web site will help you to discover many resources which will be valuable when planning a visit to our city.

Woodward is recognized as the regional hub in the northwest portion of the state. We are known as the home of wide open spaces and friendly faces. Woodward community leaders have worked hard to improve and expand quality of life amenities for our citizens.

A seven mile walking trail is enjoyed by everyone and a $25 million Crystal Beach Park remodeling project is underway.

Several new hotels, restaurants, businesses, and homes are being constructed. Woodward was recently named the 5th fastest growing city in Oklahoma, and we usually enjoy the lowest unemployment in the state.

We are proud of our education system, which includes a brand new campus for Northwestern Oklahoma State University, High Plains Technology Center, and our Woodward Public School System, which will start a new building and remodeling program soon.

We are committed to providing a safe, clean, and friendly environment for our citizens and visitors.
