The Clerk’s office serves as the “hub” of local government serving citizens in addressing questions, complaints, insurance, bids, and requests. In addition, the Clerk oversees the day to day operations of the Utility Billing Department and Municipal Court.
Mrs. Catherine Coleman, a graduate of Northwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting, was appointed City Clerk in October, 2005. Mrs. Coleman is a member of the Oklahoma Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Association and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, having been awarded the distinction of Certified Municipal Clerk in 2009. She has also attained the distinction of Certified Municipal Official by the Oklahoma Municipal League.
Deputy City Clerk
The Deputy City Clerk works closely with the City Clerk and assists in the day-to-day management of the City Clerk’s Office.
Office duties include Complaints, Records Management, Custodian of all Municipal Records, Inquiries, Alarm Permits, Animal Licenses, Beverage Licenses, Business Licenses, Industrial Waste Permits, Street Use Permits, Special Assessments, Mowing / Cleaning Liens, Insurance, Bids.
Kelly Cornejo was appointed to the position of Deputy City Clerk in August of 2008. Kelly brings to the City over nineteen years experience in the legal field.
